The club is sad to announce that Ben Sturgess has decided to leave Rangers after over 3 successful years where he has given everything for the club. A huge personality on and off the field, and instrumental in the clubs recent success, Ben has been part of some amazing highs and the occasional low which due to his commitment to the cause has felt more than most.

The club is now in transition on and off the field; as we build a new squad to achieve our goals we know this will take time. After very honest conversations with Ben at this stage of his career and with greater commitments to his boys' football, we have to respect he doesn't have as much time to wait and therefore would like to have a fresh opportunity.

Ben - thank you for your incredible dedication to Rangers, you and your family have been a massive part of the club, we are sad to see you go but wish you every success wherever you go next. You will always be welcome at Ris.
