Matchday Programme: Risborough Rangers vs Letchworth Garden City Eagles

James Chennells

Tonight’s Gladwish Challenge Trophy programme is out now. Catch up on team news, club updates and what’s coming up at the CMG.

The official matchday programme for tonight’s Gladwish Challenge Trophy fixture against Letchworth Garden City Eagles is now available to read online.

Monday Night Football returns to the CMG Stadium with a 19:45 kick-off, and gates open at 18:45. Supporters are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy the bar, hot food and club shop before the game.

What’s inside

Director of Football Mark Eaton previews tonight’s tie. He explains why the Gladwish Trophy gives Gary Meakin the chance to use the full squad, give valuable minutes to players and let others stake a claim for a regular starting place. That squad depth will matter as the club balances league and cup demands this season.

The programme also includes:

  • Gladwish Trophy so far: 16 games and 57 goals in the competition to date
  • Vets still dominant: another emphatic 0-5 win for the Vets
  • Fixture update: our away game at Colney Heath has moved from Tuesday 10th November to Saturday 7th November, 15:00 KO
  • CPR and defibrillator training: free sessions at the CMG on 5th, 10th and 24th November at 19:00
  • Pumpkin picking at the gardens: Wednesday 28th October, 12-5pm
  • Volunteers wanted: we’re looking for help with a range of matchday roles at the CMG Stadium
  • New accounts: follow @risboroughrangersyouth for academy and U18 coverage, and @risboroughsportsgroup for news from across Risborough Sports Group

Tickets for tonight are available on INTIX or on the gate. RRFC Junior Members get in free with their membership card.

Thank you to all our sponsors, volunteers and supporters for backing the club, especially on these midweek evenings. We hope to see you at the CMG tonight.
