Harpenden Town continue to top the standings as they defeat New Salamis 2-0 in Hertfordshire while Leverstock Green remain hot on their tail after winning 3-1 at Harefield United. Also pointless at the foot of the table are Baldock Town (who didn’t play) and Flackwell Heath who were beaten at home by London Colney, the Hertfordshire club winning 1-0. Visitors to the Oxhey Jets v Arlesey Town fixture were treated to a game that had everything, goals, sending offs and floodlight failures, the clubs produced ten goals between them with Arlesey edging it 6-4, both clubs finished with ten men and the lights went out twice (Oxhey chairman John Elliott obviously forgetting to pay the electricity bill), there was further gloom for the hosts as after the game manager Stuart Atkins resigned. Elsewhere Holmer Green won 2-1 on the road for the second time in the space of four days when defeating Tring Athletic while Ardley United and sees Leighton Town battled out a 1-1 draw in Oxfordshire.
