THE GLADWISH CHALLENGE TROPHY Quarter Final
Thursday night saw the last of the Gladwish Challenge Trophy quarter-final ties as Ardley United hosted Risborough Rangers, a tight even first half saw the sides go in goalless at the interval however it was a different story after the break as the 75 die-hard fans were treated to four goals as United booked a semi-final date at Hadley later this month, the pick of the hosts four second half strikes was the last one, a delightful chip from the edge of the penalty area by Jimmy Casbierd. PREMIER DIVISION
A packed midweek Premier Division programme saw table toppers New Salamis and second placed Risborough Rangers continue their promotion push, Salamis travelled to Broadfields United but found the hosts a tough nut to crack but a second half strike eventually gave them a 1-0 win while Rangers struck with a goal in each half to win 2-0 at Dunstable Town. Third placed Hadley were in action on both Tuesday and Thursday evenings and a draw and a win maintained their outside chance of a top two finish, in the first of their two games they battled out a 1-1 draw at Aylesbury Vale Dynamos and two days later a solid second half performance saw them defeat visiting Harpenden Town 3-0 after the teams were level at the break. At the other end of the table both Holmer Green and Tring Athletic picked up a useful away point on Tuesday evening, Green securing a 1-1 draw at Harefield United while Athletic played out a goalless draw at Flackwell Heath. Elsewhere Milton Keynes Irish enjoyed a 3-1 win at Arlesey Town while another large crowd at Bell Close (304) saw Leighton Town held 1-1 by a battling Leverstock Green side. Tring Athletic left it late to reach the semi-finals of the Dudley Latham Memorial (Premier Division) Cup at Baldock Town on Thursday night, the visitors winning by the odd goal in five to set up a last four tie at either Risborough Rangers or Hadley. Full result and goalscorers are listed below.

DIVISION ONE
Midweek saw Wellingborough Whitworth and Ampthill Town both record wins as each press hard for a promotion play-off spot, Whitworth sit just outside in sixth place after defeating Penn & Tylers Green 3-0, a result that virtually ends any hopes the visitors had of a play-off spot while Town moved back into third place with a solitary goal win at Langford on Wednesday night. Elsewhere the mid-table clash between Buckingham Athletic and Rushden & Higham United saw the hosts in dominant form with three goals in each half to defeat their Northamptonshire visitors.
