On Saturday we make the trip over the border to Oxfordshire with a visit to North Leigh in an Emirates FA Cup Extra Preliminary round tie, with both clubs looking for their first win of the season.

North Leigh, who were relegated from the Southern League Central Division last term, opened their Combined Counties League Premier North Division campaign with a 2-0 loss at Abingdon United. Ris started with a one-all draw with Biggleswade United last Saturday, followed by a slender 1-0 loss at Winslow United on Tuesday evening.

This is the first ever meeting between the clubs but there has been a number of players to of represented both clubs over the years which have seen Jack Brooker, Martin Griggs, James Dobson, Jefferson Louis, Dan West, Greg Hackett, Lewis Thorne, Adam Smith, George Gilmore represent both Ris and the Millers. Currently Kyron Webb and Gerald Muchechetere are with the Millers, both appeared for the Rangers last season.

Should there be the need for a replay then this will be back at the KAMTECH Stadium on Tuesday 5th August with a 7.45pm kick off.

The winners of the tie at will be at home to either Hellenic League Premier Division outfit Thornbury Town or our former Combined Counties League Premier North Division rivals Virginia Water.
