It's back to the Emirates FA Cup as we welcome our old parring partners from the Combined Counties League Premier Division North, Virginia Water to the KAMTECH Stadium for a Preliminary Round tie.

This isn't the first time the clubs have met int the FA Cup, back in August 2023, two late goals saw the Waters progress with a 2-0 win on the day.

While we despatched North Leigh 2-1 in their backyard in the Extra Preliminary, The Waters were drawing 2-2 away at Hellenic League Thornbury Town where they needed an 89th minute equaliser to take the tie back to Arbour Park. In the replay Waters stormed into a three goal lead by the hour mark had them cruising but two goals from the visitors made it an edgy end to the game to set up todays game.

If scores are level at 90 minutes the there will be at replay on Tuesday 19th August 2026 at Arbour Park, Slough Town FC with a 7.45pm kick off.
