The Reserves welcome Chalvey Sports to Windsors for this Tuesday night fixture with the opposition bringing in several players with 1st team appearances including their top scorer.

We included youth team player Marcus Waterhouse (17) and Jake Bradshaw (18) plus several players under 20 years of age in our starting line up.
We demanded that the team started on the front foot and we did just that scoring in the 6th minute when Adam Toms heading in after attacking a deep cross.
With both teams battling hard to gain possession we had the slight advantage with pace all over the pitch. The second goal arrived just before the interval when Rob Firth pounced on a poor clearance to fire home from the edge of the box.

The 2nd half began with high pressure and we then scored a great goal with Dan Deakin finding Marcus Waterhouse with a cross field ball he raced on to cross to the back post which Matthew Hatt nodded back to James Shrimpton to head home pass the away keeper.

The away team were awarded a free kick just outside the box which the midfielder placed high to Jack Sillitoe right to pull a goal back.
You would’ve thought game on but Rangers went straight up the other end and scored through Jake Bradshaw to put us back in control.
This allowed us to bring on Gabriel Mititelu and Alex Hockley to gain valuable minutes.
We added 2 further goals from Matthew Hatt and a great strike across goal from Dan Deakin to comfortably win the game 6-1.

We punished poor defending with clinical finishing and produced a good all round team performance on the night.
